Regarding the text "Railroad workers now in debt to the company, executors are threatening”, in which it was stated that the Supreme Court annulled the earlier verdict according to which the Railway Infrastructure paid the workers money in the name of less calculated wages and that now the executors have submitted their decisions on compulsory collection, the Chamber of Public Executors reacted.
"In the text in question, it is stated in an unprofessional manner that "the costs of the executor are up to 450 euros", as well as that some public executors in the solutions increased their costs and the award for the collection of claims to the detriment of the workers by another 450 euros". It is further stated that they also included in their expenses "drafting a proposal for execution" of another 121 euros, with an inappropriate journalist's remark that some were "extraordinarily inventive" so they included "certifications of photocopies of executive documents" among the expenses and charged as much as 270 euros.
For the sake of accurate, professional and complete information of the public, we point out the following - that the reward for the work of public bailiffs is regulated by the Regulation on the tariff of public bailiffs, and that its application is strictly controlled through regular supervision by the Ministry of Justice and the Chamber of Public bailiffs, and that in this sense there were no more significant irregularities. Upon inspection of the cited cases, it was determined that the reward for the work of public enforcement officers was legally and properly calculated and that it ranges up to a maximum of 45 euros per case with a value of 500 to 1.000 euros. All other costs of the enforcement procedure mentioned by the journalist are attorney's fees calculated in accordance with the valid attorney's tariff, to which the lawyer has the right, and the public bailiff has the obligation to recognize and settle them through enforcement", it is stated in the reaction, explaining that the person to whom the enforcement decision was issued and if he suspects improperly calculated costs, he has the right to complain to the competent court, the Chamber of Public Executors and the Ministry of Justice.
