JKPCG: Vuković will stop any attempt to privatize Plantaž

The candidacy of Miroslav Vuković for the executive director of Plantaž caused violent reactions, but only in informal power centers that would like to privatize one of the last national resources that the outgoing regime did not devastate, the Yugoslav Communist Party (JKPCG) announced.

The JKPCG said that the informal centers of power, which would form the government, cannot bear the fact that Vuković will stop any attempt to privatize and loot Plantaž with his professional involvement.

"That's why we understand the orchestrated campaign that started from those circles, but on this occasion we also send them a clear message that we will not remain silent, but that in the coming period we will expose all attempts of tycoon-media circles to sell this economic giant," the JKPCG press release states. .

From JKPCG, an integral part of the coalition For the Future of Montenegro and a coalition partner of the Democratic Front (DF) in all election cycles, they said that they are obliged to, after the tendentious and malicious attempts of informal centers to question the human and professional credibility of Vuković, true inform the Montenegrin public.

"The JKPCG, through its opposition activities so far, has clearly determined itself towards liberal capitalism and criminal transition, which devastated all the values ​​of the former SFRY. Therefore, without any calculations or behind-the-scenes tactics, we inform you that Vuković is a member of the PUK, who has regularly proven his political affiliation with his activities, but also with signatures of support for our coalition list in all previous election cycles, of which there is proper documentation," the announcement states.

As they stated, his political involvement and opposition habitus were known to the previous management.

The executive director of Plantaž, Verica Maraš, asked the Board of Directors of that company to relieve her of her duties at her personal request.

The meeting of the Board of Directors at which the new acting CEO of Plantaž will be appointed will most likely be held on Friday.

The main candidate for acting as the new executive director is Vuković, the first associate of Maraš.
