NLB Bank is the general sponsor of the series "I play my game," which aims to promote young sports talents from Montenegro, the first of which, out of 30 episodes, will be broadcast on Sunday, November 08 at 19 p.m., on the second channel of the national public service.

"I play my game" is a documentary format that describes the life of the best young athletes of Montenegro and their challenges on the way to prestigious sports results.

The best among the best, winners of European and world junior medals will be presented through the series, and we are pleased to note that some of them are already on the way to professional sports careers.

"Often children of the age to which the series is dedicated have a feeling of abandonment. Daily pressure at sports competitions, as well as high expectations from the closest family members, coaches and the entire public make young athletes face another opponent, themselves. This is a supporting series that encourages athletes to never give up and always come out victorious! The reality is that junior successes in individual sports are largely the result of parental struggle and enthusiasm. With this project, we want to encourage the umbrella institutions of sports and successful Montenegrin companies to act as concretely and firmly as possible towards children who, from a young age, live the dream of carrying the Montenegrin flag at a major Olympic competition." - he announced. Andrija Krivokapic, author of the series and founder of the independent production 15 Takes which implemented the project.

Through the series, the audience will have the opportunity to meet our best young athletes selected by the Ministry of Sports and Youth of Montenegro and sports associations, to hear the stories of young people who do what they love most, despite all the challenges, while also achieving top sports results.

We wish to present talented young athletes with disabilities in the future through this series, whose selection will be helped by the Montenegrin Paralympic Committee.

The aim of the series is not only to emphasize the results, but also to bring the life paths of young athletes closer to the audience and to be a wind at the back of some future sporting hopes of Montenegro.

The first episode will be broadcast on November 8.11.2020, 19. at 2:XNUMX p.m. on RTCG XNUMX, so we invite you to join us and see what trials and challenges make up an "ordinary" day for a young athlete in Montenegro.

In the first episode, the story of a young handball player will be presented, who at the time of filming was a member of the handball club "Lovćen" from Cetinje and a junior national team member, and is already in the ranks of the Austrian Bregenz.

Luka Vukićević evaluated his experience of filming the series "I play my game" this way:

"Participating in this series and knowing that I will be in a feature series that will be shown on television, made me believe in myself and my talent even more. I felt like a real star and I thank Ivana, Blaž and Andrija for this experience and knowing that I have made friends for life. One thing is certain, without work, talent means nothing and I was ready to train twice as much to make my dream come true."

NLB Bank's socially responsible operations rely to a large extent on the promotion of sports, through support for larger and smaller sports clubs, young athletes, whose talent and sportsmanship are an inspiration for the whole society.

"We supported the project "I play my game" because we recognized the values that this series promotes and we want the whole of Montenegro to hear about these young sports hopefuls. We consider it important to direct young people towards nature, sports fields and gymnasiums. Sports teach us victory and defeat, but also how important hard work and perseverance are for every game in life. We are convinced that great results await Montenegrin sports, and that is why we support our young athletes through this project as well," he said Martin Leberle chief executive officer of NLB Bank.

In this way, we raise society's awareness of the importance of physical exercise for preserving health, which is a common concern of all of us these days, and draw attention to the positive impact that sport will have on rehabilitation, socialization and inclusion even after the pandemic.
