The government adopted information on the proposals for the termination of the concession contract for four MHPs

Today, the government adopted information on the realization of the concession contract based on the energy license for the use of water from the Krkori water source for the purpose of building a small hydroelectric plant "Krkori" on the part of the city water supply "Krkori".

The government accepted the annex to the contract, which prescribes the obligation of the concessionaire to complete the works from the second phase of the contract no later than four months from the date of conclusion of the annex.

The Government said that the annex stipulates that failure to fulfill the obligations of the concessionaire within the stipulated period will result in the termination of the contract.

The government adopted information on the proposals for the termination of the concession contract, which envisages the construction of four small hydropower plants (MHP) on the Raštak watercourses (two MHPs - Raštak and Raštak 2), Ljeviška and Reževića rivers.

"Having concluded that due to non-fulfillment of the contractual obligations of the concessionaire, the conditions for the termination of the contract on the construction of small hydroelectric power plants on those watercourses have been met, the Government tasked the Ministry of Capital Investments with undertaking the necessary activities and carrying out procedures in that direction", the announcement states.

Information on the proposals for resolving the status of the concession contract, which envisages the construction of small hydropower plants on the Đurička river with its tributaries, Komarača, Murinska, Bistrica and Bukovica, was also adopted.

The government has concluded that the conditions have been met for the termination of the concession contract for the construction of small hydropower plants on the watercourses of the Đurička river with its tributaries, Bistrica and Bukovica.

"The Government has set an appropriate deadline for the concessionaires for the construction of small hydroelectric power plants on the Komarača and Murinska river watercourses to fulfill their contractual obligations, and in the event of non-fulfillment of any of the obligations, the procedure for terminating the concession contract will be initiated," the statement said.

The government adopted the information on the realization of the concession contract for detailed geological research and exploitation of the occurrence of the mineral raw material of technical-building stone "Kameno more" from April 30, 2013. "On this occasion, the Government decided to terminate the concession contract, due to non-fulfillment of contractual obligations by the Concessionaire - AD "Račica" – Tivat," the announcement states. The government adopted the information on the redirection of realized savings. The government has adopted conclusions that oblige the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare to, in order to provide the missing funds for the settlement of the due obligations of certain consumer units, redirect certain amounts from consumer units that have achieved savings within the available funds.

Within personnel issues, the Government passed a decision on the appointment of the deputy president, nine members and the secretary of the Council for Privatization and Capital Projects.

The Minister of Capital Investments, Mladen Bojanić, a former member of the Council, was appointed Deputy President of the Council.

"The President of the Municipality of Bijelo Polje Petar Smolović, the President of the Chamber of Commerce Vlastimir Golubović, the President of the Employers' Union Predrag Mitrović, and the General Secretary of the Union of Trade Unions Duško Zarubica were appointed as members of the Council," the Government stated.

As they said, the General Secretary of the Union of Free Trade Unions Srđa Keković, President of the Union of Young Entrepreneurs Uroš Bulatović, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Internal Policy Željko Savović, Deputy Secretary General of the Government Nikola Kandić were also appointed as members of the Council:

Jelena Globarević, an independent advisor at the Investment Agency of Montenegro, was appointed as the secretary of the Council.
