The candidates for the new director of the Insurance Supervision Agency (ANO) are Branko Barjaktarović, Nataša Backović Blečić and Danilo Vujanović.
The ANO Council opened the applications received for the competition for the election of a new director at its session today, in the presence of all members, and determined the list of candidates who submitted complete documentation in a timely manner.
"Candidates for the new director of ANO are Branko Barjaktarović, Nataša Backović Blečić and Danilo Vujanović, all employees of that regulator," the announcement states.
The ANO Council will make a decision regarding the competition at its session in the first week after the Christmas holidays, bearing in mind the fact that the current director's term expires on January 16.
At its session, the ANO Council, among other things, made a Decision on the amount of the regular contribution to the Guarantee Fund for the following year.
"The regular contribution to the Guarantee Fund, which the insurance companies performing compulsory traffic insurance are obliged to pay to the Association of the National Insurance Bureau of Montenegro for the following year, has been determined in the amount of four percent of the gross invoiced premium in this year for all types of compulsory insurance in traffic, except for the mandatory insurance of the owner, that is, the user of the aircraft against liability for damage caused to third parties, for which the amount of 0,4 percent has been determined", explained ANO.
Also, the Council got acquainted with the Information on the maximum interest rate for calculating the mathematical reserve, which cannot be higher than 1,766 percent.
The specified interest rate is applied when calculating the mathematical reserve for insurance contracts concluded after April 1 of the following year.
