The revenues and expenses of the Municipality of Kolasin next year should be around 2,3 million euros. According to the budget proposal that the members of the Assembly adopted yesterday, the largest revenues are planned from taxes and fees - about 1,3 million euros, and about one million euros will flow into the coffers from donations and transfers.
Bojan Zeković's (SDP) amendment was adopted, so for the first time 15.000 euros will be allocated to provide laptops for all half-graduates.
"Although all the benefits are not so quick and easily measurable, I believe that there is no better investment than 15.000 euros, which will bring greater benefits to the citizens of Kolašin. It's about giving all our students the opportunity to, regardless of their parents' financial situation, just like their peers in more developed environments, use all the advantages that the computer can provide them in their future education," he explained.
Slađana Živković's (SNP) amendment was also accepted, so social benefits were increased by 22.000 euros. That money, according to her reasoning, should be directed to unemployed mothers.
130.000 euros are planned for capital expenditures.
The head of the parliamentary club of the opposition DPS, Darko Brajušković, said that the amount was too small, comparing it to 80.000 euros, which, according to the budget, will be spent by the cabinet of the President of the Municipality Željka Vuksanović.
"If there was a budget like this in the previous period, and if this was the way it was decided to develop the city, where would we be today? If this continues and if this is the perspective of the city, then we better all move out. How can we follow the development trends of Montenegro with these funds".
Vladimir Martinović (Democrats) complained that the expenses were not explained more precisely. He also had an objection to the amount of 12.000 that will be allocated to the local Tourist Organization (TO), judging that it is too little considering that Kolaša is a tourist center.
The councilors also adopted the proposals for a decision on the plan of the Strategic Development Plan of the Municipality for the next four years, a decision on tax incentives, a report on the state of spatial planning for this year and the work plan of the Municipal Council for 2018.
The session started in an unusual way - Svetalna Milošević (DPS) distributed gingerbread bought at the Christmas Bazaar to her colleagues, with the aim of lowering the tension.
