Elektroprivreda (EPCG), as a supplier, adjusted the price for households and small customers who do not belong to that category, due to the increase in the price on the electricity market, respecting the restrictions prescribed by the Law on Energy, announced the Regulatory Agency for Energy (RAE).
"While the established price of electricity for this year was 37,99 euros per megawatt hour (MWh), futures for the next year on the reference electricity exchange in September amounted to 44,88 cents per kilowatt hour (kWh) for the band, or 55,49 .XNUMX cents per kWh for peak energy", according to the statement published on the RAE website.
The RAE reminded that On Friday, EPCG announced the prices for the supply of electricity to end customers, which will apply from January 1.
"The prices for the use of the transmission and distribution system of electricity for the next year, according to last year's RAE decision, which refers to the three-year regulatory period from this year to 2019, remain at approximately the same level as this year," the statement added.
RAE explained that the price for engaged network capacity is 0,89 percent higher, the price of justified losses is 0,52 percent lower, while the fixed part for engaging network capacity in the next year is 1,2 percent lower.
"An increase in the price of electricity of six percent will affect the increase in the final price of electricity for the supply of a two-tariff household with an average consumption in the next year of 2,7 percent compared to this year," the announcement specifies.
The RAE stated that the estimated price of electricity for the supply of two-tariff households for the next year in the amount of 8,2 cents per kWh, without value added tax (VAT) and fees for encouraging the production of electricity from renewable sources, is lower than the comparative prices for the period from August 2013 to January this year, which ranged between 8,32 cents per kWh and 8,4 cents per kWh.
"The single fee for encouraging the production of electricity from renewable sources for the following year will be determined by the Ministry of Economy by the end of January," RAE concluded.
