Darko Vuković, an employee of the bankrupt Aluminum Complex (KAP), claims that he was physically prevented from entering the factory on Thursday, after he commented on the company's owner, Veselin Pejović, on a social network.
He told "Vijesta" that the security worker Ilija Žugić prevented him from entering the factory and punched him in the hand.
KAP told "Vijesti" that Vuković was given 12 days off (until March 23), and that is why the security team decided to prevent the entry of persons who are not in the process of work.
In his statement to the police, Žugić stated that he was fulfilling work assignments.
"Even last Friday, I was informed by KAP's head of security, Momcilo Radonjić, that this person was banned from entering KAP's circle, but I was not told for what reasons. When Vuković came to the gate, I stood in front of the gate and told him that we were told that he was prohibited from entering the KAP circle. In the report, Vuković states that I hit him on the hand, I responsibly claim that I had no bad intentions, but only that he should put away his phone and not record me, because I did not want that recording to appear on social networks and portals...", it is stated. in Žugić's statement to the Police Directorate, which was provided to "Vijesta" by Uniprom KAP.
In the video provided to "Vijesta" by Vuković and Uniprom KAP, it can be seen that a security worker stops him at the entrance to the factory and pushes him away with his hand.
Vuković accused Radonjić, Pejović and the manager of the Elektroenergetika organizational unit, Dragutin Janković, of being behind the reaction of the security workers, all because he posted on Instagram last Thursday: "Dal let me go to work, as conductor Pejović says."
"The day after my post on the social network, my manager Dragutin Janković called me, who told me that he was called by KAP security and told him that I was posting some pictures on Instagram, and that I was banned from entering KAP and to take two rest days, 'until the situation calms down, and then we'll see what we're going to do'. As I was scheduled to work on Sunday and Monday, I did not come to work on those two days, after which I had two regular days off. According to the regular schedule, I was supposed to work yesterday, but I was prevented from doing so. I haven't received any decision about the dismissal," Vuković said.
Chief manager of KAP Nebojša Dožić told "Vijesta" that they do not consider Vuković's address on Instagram to be a disruption of work discipline or a failure to fulfill work obligations.
Dožić said that he was informed by Janković that Vuković "was given 12 days off without the obligation to come to work".
"Also, it is his opinion that the employment relationship with this employee should be terminated due to the reorganization and rationalization of this entity."
Dožić added that the decision to terminate the employment relationship is sent to other workers as well.
"Everyone is well aware of the reasons for such a management decision, and it is not within the competence of the owner of Uniprom, nor do such decisions imply consultation with him."
Vuković filed a misdemeanor report against Žugić to the police, he also submitted an initiative to the Labor Inspectorate, and addressed the President of the Commercial Court, Blaž Jovanić, and, as he points out, expects a reaction.
"I'm afraid that this is about the fact that if I do not come to the workplace 'unjustified' for three days, the employer has the opportunity to fire me because I allegedly do not fulfill my work obligations," said Vuković, who works as a switchboard fitter in a transformer station for more than 15 years.
