The majority state-owned company "Sveti Stefan hoteli", which is the owner of the elite hotel complex Sveti Stefan - Miločer, ended last year with a positive business result of 507 thousand euros. This is written in the report on financial operations sent to the Revenue Administration.
This company is exclusively "dealing" with the leasing of the city hotel Sveti Stefan and Villa Miločer, for which the company "Adriatic properties", businessman of Chinese-Malaysian origin Wei Seng Pu and Greek businessman Petros Statis, pays it about one million euros annually.
"Sveti Stefan hotels" emerged from the "Budvanska Riviera" hotel group after the restructuring was completed, and was registered in August 2019.
According to the data from the report, the company "Sveti Stefan hoteli" had a revenue of 977.955 euros last year, while the year before the revenue was 339.950 euros. 233 thousand euros were spent on the salaries of three employees in the company and the fees of members of the board of directors.
The property value of the hotel complex remained unchanged and amounts to 60,7 million euros. The company has receivables of 116 thousand euros, while the cash in the account is 700 thousand euros.
"Vijesti" previously announced that three employees work in the company, of which, as the company announced, the president of the board of directors, Milan Vučinić, former vice president of the Municipality of Budva while Lazar Radjenović (DPS) managed the city, has a net income of 2.100 euros, executive Director Miško Rađenović has 1.800 euros, and company secretary Saša Samardžić has 1.200 euros.
It is expected that the government will soon appoint a new board of directors and replace the management of the company, DPS personnel, and then review the company's operations and put under scrutiny what the managers were doing.
When the company was registered in 2019, trading of its shares on the Montenegro Stock Exchange began immediately in November of that year, when the price was 3,4 euros per share.
In May of last year, the company Stratex sold its stake in that company. A significant part, as announced by the media, was bought by AIK bank, businessman Miodrag Kostić. Just over 1.000 shares were bought through Universal Capital Bank of Petros Statis, but it is not known for whose account. Until then, Stratex Development had 9,39 percent, and Stratex Hospitality 5,83 percent of the shares. The government currently owns 41,6 percent of the shares in Sveti Stefan Hotel, and AIK Bank has 19,98 percent. The PIO fund owns 12,8 percent, while the owner of 9,4 percent is hidden behind the custody account of Hipotekarna banka. The company Agromarket from Kragujevac has 1,49 percent of shares, Iva Senjak 0,7 percent, and Neđeljko Milošević 0,07 percent of shares.
The city-hotel Sveti Stefan and Villa Miločer were leased in January 2007 to the company Adriatic Properties, first for 30 years, and then for 42 years in annexes to the contract.
