Switzerland has removed Montenegro from the list of risky countries, so the airline Chair Airlines will fly twice a week from Zurich to Podgorica from May 13, the Aerodromi Crne Gore company announced today.
The statement adds that this decision followed after Montenegro was removed from the list of risk countries of the Swiss Federal Institute for Health.
"Chair Airlines will have its first flight from Zurich to Podgorica on May 13 and will operate the route two to three times a week on Thursdays and Sundays, and from July on Tuesdays," confirmed the Airports of Montenegro from the Swiss airline.
The letter clarified that entry into Switzerland from Montenegro is now possible again without quarantine.
"We are delighted that we can offer short-haul travelers and Montenegrins living in Switzerland to have a continuous connection with this typical "visit friends and family" destination and enable them to spend a long weekend in this pearl of the Adriatic," concluded the head of commercial distribution of Chair Airlines, Florian Tomasi.
The Airport of Montenegro said that the expected flights represent the beginning of cooperation between the Swiss airline and the Airport of Montenegro.
