The adoption of the budget is the priority of all priorities, announced the President of the Assembly, Aleksa Bečić, and added that it is necessary to schedule the sessions of the committee for economy, finance and budget, as well as for legislation, in order to consider the submitted amendments to that legal act.
"Adopting the budget is the priority of all priorities and I have been repeating this for days. Due to the interest of the public, I am announcing that it is necessary for the chairman of the Committee for Economy, Finance and Budget and the chairman of the Committee for Legislation to urgently convene and hold committee meetings in order to consider the submitted amendments to the budget", wrote Bečić on his Twitter account.
He said that this would create formal conditions for the Assembly to express its opinion on the proposed budget.
"This is a clearly prescribed procedure, so we ask that we refrain from media tricks from all sides, that we all do our jobs, and that we focus on efficient and dynamic work with the aim of the urgent adoption of the budget," added Bečić.
