The Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare (MFSS) accepted today the amendment of MP Boris Mugoša (Social Democrats - SD) to the Draft Law on the Budget for this year to provide employees in child and social care institutions with tourist vouchers.
"There are about 950 employees in these institutions, and the cost on that basis for the budget would be about 190.000 euros. These are employees who perform an extremely complex and responsible job, made even more complicated by the coronavirus," was Mugoša's explanation.
Mugoša's amendment to provide 30.000 euros for the establishment of the Alimony Fund was also accepted.
Mugoša explained that his proposals do not require additional money, but that it be redistributed for these purposes from items related to discretionary spending.
