Marijana Kadić Bojanić received the award for manager of the year in small businesses

The executive director of TV Vijesti and the Daily press, within which ND Vijesti and the portal Vijesti work, Marijana Kadić Bojanić, received the award for manager of the year in small businesses for 2020.

The award is given by the Association of Managers of Montenegro (AMM).

The Board of Directors of the Association of Managers of Montenegro, at the proposal of the AMM presidency, which considered 52 accepted nominations, decided to award the most prestigious Montenegrin business award in seven categories, as well as one special recognition in the field of digital transformation.

The Government of Montenegro - the Ministry of Economic Development is the sponsor of the election, and business organizations and companies, among others, the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, the Council of Foreign Investors and the Institute of Certified Accountants of Montenegro, took part in proposing candidates.

"The previous year was a year of the greatest health and business challenges, and the entire economy deserves recognition, especially those companies and their leaders who showed a high degree of philanthropy, preserved and some even increased the number of jobs," AMM announced.

In 2020, the companies headed by the selected laureates generated close to 96.5 million euros in total revenue, 3.2 million euros in net profit, close to 9.4 million investments and had around a thousand employees.

"It is particularly important to point out that they have directed a significant amount of financial resources towards humanitarian activities, with an emphasis on socially responsible business and activism," added AMM.

The Board of Directors of AMM made a decision to award four awards each to women and men: Best female manager:

Marijana Kadić Bojanić - executive director - TV Vijesti i Daily Press doo Podgorica, in the category Best manager in small businesses;

Sanja Gardašević - executive director - Alicorn doo Podgorica, in the category Best manager in micro enterprises;

Tijana Milačić - executive director - Agrarija doo Podgorica, in the Young Manager of the Year category;

Branislava Maja Vukčević - executive director in the field of corporate management - CKB ad Podgorica, in the category Best manager in the field of corporate management.

Top managers:

Marko Vujović - executive director - Meat Group doo Cetinje, in the category Best manager in micro enterprises;

Ranko Vukasović - executive director - Imlek Boka doo Kotor, in the category Best manager in medium-sized enterprises;

Nikola Tripković - executive director - Coca Cola Hellenic Crna Gora doo Podgorica, equal award in the category Best manager in medium-sized enterprises.

Entrepreneur of the Year:

Aleksandar Tomović - executive director/founder - Panevivo doo Podgorica.

Company of the year for training and education of managers: Career team doo Podgorica and Gi Group Company.

The special award 'Digital Leader' for 2020 was awarded to CKB ad Podgorica.
