The President of the Assembly, Aleksa Bečić, believes that the Government, above all the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare, will do what they promised in order to limit the further rise in the prices of basic foodstuffs, and at the same time find modalities and measures to help, above all, the most vulnerable categories of the population.
Bečić, as reported by Televizija Vijesti, notes that the current government has done a lot in a short time on the economic front, reducing the rate of borrowing for Chinese highway loans and starting a new airline, while in the domain of social policy they have increased the minimum wage, introduced child allowance for all children up to six years of age and provided free textbooks.
"You know that I'm not explaining now, because of everything that is an import component, that a lot of things do not depend on what the local authorities are, but we certainly must not be passive, I must not observe from the sidelines, we must be active, we must meet problem. We take care of that social component, but let's all be aware that in this kind of almost epidemiological situation, the inherited socio-economic situation, that 2021 is auspicious, the year of salvation, and the year of something that is stabilization, so that we can truly, developmentally let's move towards what are the upcoming years," said Bečić.
