Vuksanović, President of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce

Svetlana Vuksanović was unanimously elected president of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro.

The decision was made at the first session of the Board of Directors in its new composition, held today, after the regular Annual Assembly of the Chamber.

Vuksanović, executive director at Philip Morris Montenegro, will take over the position from August 1, as well as the role that Nikola Tripković, executive director of Coca Cola Hellenic Montenegro, held for the last two years, whose mandate expires at the end of the month.

In accordance with the Statute of the American Chamber of Commerce, she will preside over the Chamber and the General Assembly, supervise the affairs and interests of the Chamber and, together with the Executive Director, represent it in external relations.

"The American Chamber of Commerce is recognized as the most influential collective voice of the renowned business community in Montenegro, and at the same time extremely well positioned in the international network of AmChams of Europe, where we are also part of the Executive Board. That is why it is a great honor and responsibility to assume, and for the second time , the role of president of the Chamber's Board of Directors," said Vuksanović.

She added that she comes from a company that is currently in the process of transformation.

"I believe that, precisely because of this, we have enough experience, knowledge and recommendations to anticipate changes in a transitional period, accept them, and build a plan for future business moves in accordance with them. The American Chamber of Commerce, adapting to political and economic challenges, will give contribution to the stabilization of the Montenegrin business environment into a transparent and predictable one, and with great potential to attract foreign investors", concluded the new president of the Chamber's Board of Directors.
