On Thursday, the government proposed that the Assembly of Shareholders of Barska plovidba appoint Dalibor Marković, Miroslav Šepić and Petr Zloković as members of the Board of Directors, who are representatives of the state capital, while the proposal of the Ministry of Capital Investments (MKI) and the Commission for Personnel and Administrative Affairs was to elect Sava Ašanin, Miroslav Šepić and Nada Daragović, who were on the board of directors until now.
On the occasion of the change in the board of directors of Barska plovidba, Maja Vukićević, vice-president of the Democratic People's Party (DNP) and deputy of the Democratic Front (DF), spoke out, saying that Ašanin (who was the president of the board of directors) received a letter from the Secretary General of the Government Žana Milačić last night Praščević on new names.
"It is interesting that only the representatives of the DF resigned, and that people close to True Montenegro were appointed to their positions against the will of the minister and the personnel commission of the Government. Which commission decided that exactly Ašanin and Dragović should not be elected? And how is that? that only Miroslav Šepić remained, who voted equally on all proposals in the work of the board so far as Ašanin and Dragović? This is not the first time that they have been removed from the management board, a similar thing was done in Crnogorska plovidba, where Ivica Kordić and Vladimir Potpara were removed , and the dismissal of Marina Jočić from the National Parks is also well known. Interestingly, she was also replaced there by the staff of Prava Montenegro, just like now in Barska plovidba," said Vukićević.
She assessed that the dismissal of board members or any other person is not disputed if it is founded, if they damaged the company with their mistakes, and the only "sin" of the DF representatives was that they insisted on signing the contracts by the end of the year, which would provide Barska plovidba with stable operations and the ability to repay all its obligations after a number of years of suffering.
"Their efforts were also recognized by the MKI, which proposed that they be re-elected, but apparently the government is privatized by people who think they can exercise their will," Vukićević pointed out.
"Vijesti" asked the MKI, headed by Mladen Bojanić, why their proposals were not accepted, to which they replied
"We suggest that you send the question to the General Secretariat of the Government and the Cabinet of the Prime Minister. We are convinced that there is a justified reason that led the Prime Minister to change the proposed composition of the Board of Directors," the MKI replied.
The Secretary General of the Government is the wife of Marko Milačić, who is a member of parliament and president of Prava Montenegro.
