The proposal changes the Statute so that those who have "gained a professional reputation by working in appropriate jobs in business associations" can also apply for the position of president, and not only those who have many years of experience in management positions in the economy. The PKCG Assembly will have the final word on amending the Statute, after which elections for a new president will be called.
According to "Vijesti" information, the Statute is being changed because the current acting president Nina Drakić she wants to run for office, but she does not meet the current conditions because she has never worked in responsible positions in the economy but in business associations.
