The rise in the prices of oil derivatives requires urgent and comprehensive action by the Government, which would result in amortization of the impact that will manifest itself in the rise in prices of all types of goods, said the vice-president of the Bosniak Party (BS), Damir Gutić.
He assessed that the latest increase in fuel prices, the 14th in a row since the beginning of the year, is a new blow to the standards of the citizens of Montenegro.
"In a situation where we witness the rise in prices of goods and services every day, which is a direct consequence of the increase in fuel prices, we call on the Government to react in order to amortize this direct cost and to help the most vulnerable categories of the population," Gutić said in a statement.
In that party, they believe that the Government should, through the payment of one-time benefits, help all those families in Montenegro who are barely making ends meet.
"That set of assistance should include all those categories with the lowest incomes, pensioners whose pension is less than 250 euros, as well as all employees whose salary is at the minimum wage level," said Gutić.
