Collection of customs revenues in October amounted to 74,3 million euros, which is 27,17 percent more compared to the same period last year.
According to the monthly report of the Revenue and Customs Administration, customs refunds in the amount of 22,61 thousand euros and excise refunds in the amount of 687,92 thousand euros were made in October.
"Accomplished net collection for October was 73,59 million euros", specified the Management.
Of the total collected revenues in October, 47,74 million euros were related to value added tax (VAT) on import, 23,86 million euros to excise taxes, 2,52 million to customs, 158,48 thousand euros to coffee tax, and 10,85 thousand euros on other incomes.
In the structure of collected excise duties, the most represented is the excise duty on mineral oils and their derivatives with 64,56 percent, then the excise duty on tobacco products with 25,74 percent, on alcohol and alcoholic beverages with 5,34 percent, and on carbonated water with 2,37 percent. .
Other income, as explained, consists of income from fines in misdemeanor proceedings, income from the sale of customs goods, interest for untimely payment of customs duties and customs duties.
