Bečić's advisor: Attempts are being made to obstruct the Conference on the Bill on the Budget

We are very disappointed by the fact that there is an attempt to obstruct tomorrow's Conference on the Bill on the Budget of Montenegro for 2022, which was convened based on the conclusions of the Citizens' Assembly held in the Parliament of Montenegro together with European MPs and Montenegrin parliamentarians, Vuk Janković, adviser, announced today the President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Alekse Bečić.

"We want to encourage all budget units to come to the Parliament tomorrow and present their views in relation to the Budget Proposal. On behalf of each budget unit, one person has the right to present their views for up to three minutes, but no person can speak in on behalf of several budget units, nor on behalf of a budget unit that it does not represent. We do not want to believe that anyone is afraid of the transparency of budget planning for this year. Citizens should know where their money is going and what they can expect from it," Janković pointed out. .
