The company "Lovćen film", which owns the Cadmus Cineplex cinema, reacted to the text "Cinema and festival - New affair or pure business", claiming that the statements in the text are "untrue and tendentially stated in order to show something that in practice does not correspond to the truth".
"We dispute the allegations and point out their untruth: "The Court of Appeal overturned the verdict by which "Lovćen Film", which owns the cinema "Cadmus Cineplex", forcibly collected 665.000 euros from the Municipality of Budva" because that statement is not true, and when it is expressed like this, it indicates some illegality that absolutely does not exist. The verdict was sent back to be supplemented by the decision of the Court of Appeal for, it can be said, technical reasons, and it has absolutely nothing to do, as stated in the text, with the forced collection that was carried out according to the valid contract that has been in force for almost eight years, and it will remain so in the future. And in this regard, we believe that it is important that the young revolutionaries from social networks who run the Secretariat for Legal Protection explain to the citizens the consequences of the possible cancellation of the basic Contract on the rental of cinemas, i.e. what exactly will it mean to return to the original state and how much money would it cost the Municipality of Budva to whose interest they are fighting, as they claim, against private interest.
It is clear to us in the "Lovćen film" that during the red revolutions, everyone who is engaged in private business must be put on the pillar of shame, it seems logical and justified to many who exercise power to make public statements and claims on their social networks that they must stop path to private interest and so on. Imagine a government that is bothered by "private interest"? And one part of which does not hesitate to express it publicly, as they do from the Secretariat for Legal Protection, abusing their position and presenting half-truths and untruths on their social networks using municipal documentation.
We must point out here that the statements from which it can be concluded that the judge was changed are untrue. He wants to present that the judge has judged badly. And the only truth is that the previous judge, in a rush of party power and single-mindedness, was forced into retirement. It should be expected, if media reports are to be believed, that all judges will be replaced until those who will deliver judgments acceptable to the government arrive.
There is another untruth in the text - that the SDT demanded that the local administration urgently submit all the documentation for the "phantom" festival... These are really phantom claims of the Municipal Secretariat for Legal Protection, because the phantom festival is something that the team that he does his job very poorly. The festival or a group of festivals were realized at full capacity and in the best way until, again due to personal revenge and political reasons, the Municipality of Budva itself canceled and blocked it, and because of this, a dispute has been going on in court for a long time.
Here we invite the "famous" Secretariat of the Municipality of Budva, which "hides" behind sensationalist texts, and which rejoices and uses petty tricks and pressure on the media, to publish the complete judgment and not only its first part and to freely point out the illegalities. ostensibly pointed out by the Court of Appeal! Especially since the court did not do that, nor did it ask for a new judge, but only pointed to technical errors that we believe cannot possibly affect the final verdict. The final verdict, we hope without pressure and threats to the court, will prove that all the actions of the municipality Budva were political and calculated as a personal reckoning of frustrated politicians who, unfortunately, even today, after more than 70 years of communism, claim that they urgently need to stand in the way of private interests", the reaction states.
