Committee on December 21 and 22 on the Bill on the Budget

The Parliamentary Committee for Economy, Finance and Budget will discuss the Draft Law on the Budget of Montenegro for 21 at its session on December 22 and 2022.

The president of that parliamentary body, Vladimir Joković, has scheduled a session, the agenda of which includes: Proposal for a decision on the indebtedness of Montenegro for the year 2022; Fiscal strategy proposal of Montenegro for the period 2021 - 2024; Draft program of economic reforms 2022 - 2024 (for introduction); Proposal for a law on tax on withdrawing cash from a business account; Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Contributions for Mandatory Social Insurance; Proposal for a law on amending the Law on unified registration and reporting system on the calculation and collection of taxes and contributions.

Also on the agenda are: Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Salaries of Employees in the Public Sector; Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Personal Income Tax; Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Excise; Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Local Self-Government Financing; Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Tax Administration; Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Profit Tax of Legal Entities, with amendments (two) by the Government (16-02/21-1/2); Proposal for a law on the reprogramming of tax claims, with an amendment by the Government (16-4/21-2/2).

The session will be held in two parts.

On the first day of the session, on Tuesday, December 21, the Committee will consider the Proposal for the Law on the Budget of Montenegro for 2022, and in addition to the authorized representatives of the proposers of the law, one representative was invited to the Committee session: the State Audit Institution, the Central Bank, the Chamber of Commerce, Employers' Unions, Association of Managers, Montenegro Business Alliance, American Chamber of Commerce, Union of Trade Unions, Union of Free Trade Unions and NGO Institute of Alternatives.

On the second day of the session, on Wednesday, December 22, the Committee will continue the discussion on the Draft Law on the Budget and other items on the agenda, in the presence of authorized representatives of the proponents.
