In the coming year, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management will allocate significant funds for beekeeping and create measures that will go in the direction of intensifying and modernizing production.
Today, representatives of the Ministry held a meeting with representatives of the Union of Beekeeping Organizations of Montenegro in the House of Honey in Danilovgrad on the topic of the Agricultural Budget measures for the next year.
The State Secretary in the Ministry, Nebojša Veličković, as stated in the announcement, said that this Government department paid full attention to the sector this year, implemented measures and provided intervention support for the procurement of bee cakes for wintering bees.
"In the coming year, the Ministry will allocate significant funds for beekeeping and create measures that will go in the direction of intensifying and modernizing production," announced Veličković.
He added that the Ministry will encourage the beekeeping sector in the best way, which in the future will have much more significant results than it has had so far.
The President of the Association of Beekeeping Organizations of Montenegro, Radule Miljanić, together with the representatives of the Association of Beekeepers, presented the views of beekeepers on the measures implemented this year, with a special emphasis on the proposals for the next one.
