The Administration of Local Public Revenues of the Municipality of Budva has initiated the procedure for compulsory collection of 13.800 euros of tax debt from the Podgorica company "First assets management", whose founder is Prva banka, which is majority owned Aca Đukanović, the brother of the president of the state Milo Đukanović.
In the decision on the initiation of the procedure, which "Vijesti" had access to, it is stated that it is a tax debt for the past four years, that is, that the real estate tax for the property that this company owns in Petrovac, as well as several apartments in Budva, has not been settled.
Although Prva banka has so far regularly settled tax obligations for almost a dozen land complexes and as many residential properties it owns in the Budva municipality, the company founded by Prva banka was on the black list of tax debtors.
On the list that "Vijesti" had access to, more than 50 companies are tax debtors, and forced collection proceedings have been initiated against each of them.
By the way, "First assets management" is the owner of the former luxury villa "Komfor" in Petrovac and an attractive land complex of 8.231 square meters. It is about the location of Stupovi, at the very entrance to Petrovac, and Prva banka has been unsuccessfully trying to sell the property for more than a decade.
The bank, as "Vijesti" wrote earlier, became the owner of a valuable property after the previous owner, the Budva company "Sunny Hill", did not return a loan of 2,9 million euros.
The founder of the company "Sunny hill" was the company "Moninvest" from Budva, which was a minority shareholder in the company "Zavala invest", the former owner of the apartment complex project in Zavala.
"Moninvest" just took the loan, and as a guarantee that it will pay back, it pledged the land in Petrovac.
One of the founders of "Moninvest" was i Svetozar Marovic.
In 2009, Prva Banka officially registered the villa in its name, since then it has been looking for a buyer for it until today. There is still an ad for the sale of real estate on the bank's website
"The real estate in question consists of land with a total area of 8,231 m2, the Stupovi section and a resort-type building. The properties are located on steep land located above the bus station in Petrovac, about 500 meters as the crow flies from the sea. A highway passes directly above the location. The building in question in Petrovac was used as a resort of the Ferial Association. The property is reached by a separate road from the local city road. The object is an old type of villa that was later added, located on a plot of land of 362 square meters. It was built of old natural stone on four cascaded floors, where there are five buildings with individual areas of 134, 101, 133, 12 and 8 square meters," reads the advertisement on the bank's website.
Prva banka only recently managed to sell the two most valuable properties it owned in the Budva municipality - an attractive land complex of 11 square meters in front of the hotel "Splendida" in Bečići, the former Titetks resort was bought by the construction company "Bemax", while the large land complex of six thousand square meters in Miločerski Park was sold to the Podgorica company "Easy drive" of businessmen Aleksandar Mijajlović, whom the media linked for years as part of the "team from Grand", the formal owner of the construction company "Bemax".
Land complexes on Košljun hill, in Buljarica, Lučice, as well as several plots of land in Budva are still for sale on the bank's website.
No way to collect the debt from Milo's company
The municipality is struggling with how to collect taxes from the Podgorica company "Global Montenegro", a partner company of the head of state Milo Đukanović and his godfather Vuk Rajković.
The Administration of Local Public Revenues of the Municipality of Budva ex officio initiated the procedure of forced collection of 57 thousand euros of tax debt from Đukanović's company, because the real estate tax was not paid for the large land complex of 20 thousand square meters that they owned until recently at the very entrance to Budva at the foot of the Košljun hill. .
The municipality of Budva, i.e. its local public revenue administration, was faced with the problem of collecting the tax debt of the company of the leader of the opposition DPS, after the attractive land of "Global Montenegro" was seized due to an unpaid loan, and transferred to the Podgorica company "HoldCo east".
The Budva cadastre did not previously register a mortgage on the land complex, which the Administration of Local Public Revenues insisted on, and therefore an appeal was filed.
