Deputies finished the debate on the budget in principle, the vote should take place next week

The MPs finished the discussion in principle on the proposal of the Budget Law for the next year, which should be declared next week.

Deputies today continued the discussion on the Budget Proposal of Montenegro for 2022.

The leader of the Socialist People's Party (SNP), Vladimir Joković, said that he had listened to all proposals and conclusions and read more than a hundred amendments.

"'Europe now' is well thought out and we will support everything," he said, saying that he is concerned that the amendments are mainly about social benefits, and that there are no development projects that would bring jobs and prevent young people from leaving the country .

Social Democrats (SD) MP Boris Mugoša said that he was worried about the budget of the Health Insurance Fund, which, he said, should not be below 400 million.

"Healthcare cannot survive with 330 million in 2022. We can talk about outstanding obligations until tomorrow. The needs are growing, and the number of outstanding obligations is increasing," he points out.

Member of Parliament of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Draginja Vuksanović Stanković said that the citizens are looking forward to January with trepidation and that the price of the "Europe now" political program will be paid by the citizens when they "realize that they have been deceived".

"Citizens will understand that this is a fraud. I think that the passports of Ministers Milatović and Spajić should be taken when the fraud starts to be disclosed. There is no running away, you have to face the citizens when the people don't have money because of your project. Face the citizens." she ordered.

The head of the DPS parliamentary club, Danijel Živković, criticized in the parliament the decisions of the DF to support government projects, saying that they are destructive, politically absurd and contradictory by submitting an amendment to make the minimum wage 650 euros.

This statement by Živković was answered by DF deputy Slaven Radunović, who said, "We're kidding."

"So tell the citizens, now you said that you are politically serious. You are full of contradictions," said Živković.

He said that the DF is talking about overthrowing Zdravko Krivokapić, but that he is a political grandmaster for them and that he "overroared" them.

"You gave him wind in his sails, your voters cannot believe that the strong DF has fallen to this kind of political humiliation," said Živković.

Democratic Front MP Slaven Radunović said that they are not proud to support the Government's decisions.

“Everything we do here, we do because you are even worse. We don't want to jeopardize the possibility of you coming to Rule. We control these people. We can overthrow them whenever we want. The deadline is not long for them, that is as clear as day", Radunović said.

Radunović hopes that the Government will be taken over by serious people who will not allow Montenegro to fall into ruin.

"We will not allow the state to be ruined. We are serious people, we do not hide. We have other political organizations that are hiding, but they don't want to talk like us. You call it self-destruction, we call it cheek. We have a face and we will not lie to people", says Radunović.
