The total gross collection based on value added tax (VAT) this year, as of December 21, amounted to 265,1 million euros, according to data from the Revenue and Customs Administration (UPC).
The total income based on personal income tax and corporate income tax from January 1 to December 21 was 171,32 million, or 73,75 million euros.
"31,03 million was collected from concessions, 19,48 million from real estate sales tax, while other revenues amount to 18,24 million," data from the UPC publication from the press conference held this week show.
Therefore, a total of EUR 578,92 million was collected from taxes in the mentioned period.
When it comes to contributions, the total collection amounted to EUR 512,72 million.
Their structure consists of the income of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund (PIO) of 317,81 million, the Health Insurance Fund of 167,07 million, the Employment Agency (ZZZ) of 24,86 million and the Labor Fund of 2,98 million.
Total tax revenues, which are the sum of taxes and contributions, amounted to 1,09 billion.
When it comes to customs revenues, their gross collection from January 1 to December 21 amounted to 776,53 million euros.
The biggest share in their structure is VAT on import 495,83 million. Following are excise taxes that were collected in the amount of 250,88 million, customs duty 27,43 million, coffee tax 2,23 million and other revenues 148,17 thousand euros.
The total revenues of UPC, which is the sum of tax and customs revenues, from the beginning of the year to December 21 amounted to 1,87 billion euros.
