In the first 11 months of last year, the Parliament of Montenegro paid 1,8 million euros, or 2,95 million in gross amount, for the net salaries of MPs.

The Assembly told the MINA agency that the MP's salary last year was 1.355 euros, without previous seniority.

"As of November 30, 2021, the state allocated 1,8 million net, or 2,95 million gross, for the salaries of deputies," the parliament said.

As they stated, for the period December 2020 - October 2021, almost 110 thousand euros were paid for per diems and travel expenses for coming to plenums and sessions of working bodies.

When asked how much was paid for fuel costs last year, the Assembly said that, as of November, around 32 euros had been spent.

The right to use an official vehicle belongs to the vice-presidents of the Assembly, presidents of working bodies, depending on whether the Assembly has a sufficient number of vehicles, presidents of parliamentary clubs, that is, persons authorized by them, as well as employees of the Assembly Service.

In exceptional cases, by order of the Secretary General, the official vehicle may be used by other MPs and employees who have passed a driving test of the appropriate category.

In accordance with the Internal Rule on determining the amount of money intended for fuel costs for official vehicles, users of official cars are assigned monetary amounts of allowed monthly fuel consumption in the range of 120 to 200 euros.

The Assembly said that in 2021, nine deputies used paid accommodation in Podgorica, and over 12 thousand euros were spent for that purpose until the end of November.

MPs who used the right to hotel accommodation are Danijela Đurović, Suada Zoronjić, Bogdan Fatić, Danijel Živković, Milosava Paunović, Jovanka Bogavac, Luiđ Škrelja, Genci Nimanbegu and Vesna Pavićević.

In the same period, the right to compensation for the lease of an apartment was also used by nine deputies, and for this purpose the Assembly paid out about 25 thousand euros net, or 27,7 thousand gross.

As the Assembly said, last year Dragan Vukić, Maja Vukićević, Tamara Vujović, Marta Šćepanović, Dragan Krapović, Albin Ćeman, Branko Čavor, Suada Zoronjić and Momo Koprivica used that right.

By the end of November last year, it had paid 53,7 thousand euros to MPs for official trips abroad.

MP Predrag Sekulić spent the most money on official trips, over 7,3 thousand, Maja Vukićević almost 6,4 thousand, Dragan Krapović about 4,4 thousand, Slaven Radunović about four thousand, and over three thousand euros were also spent by Danilo Saranović and Ervin Ibrahimovic.

The President of the Assembly, Aleksa Bečić, spent about 2,7 thousand euros on official trips last year, that is, on hotel accommodation and plane tickets.

Since taking office, Bečić has given up all per diems for official trips in the country and abroad.
