The government neglected the needs of pensioners with an inadequate social policy

The government, with its inadequate social policy, neglected the needs of pensioners, according to the Commission for the Care and Improvement of the Quality of Life of the Elderly Population of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS).

"Montenegro celebrates the International Day of Social Justice in an atmosphere that reflects the truth that the country, led by the expert staff of the recent Government of former Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić, in its populist behavior forgot about those whom every society with a special sensibility should take care of," he says. in the announcement of DPS.

In support of that, as they said, is the fact that the pompously presented Europe Now, "which was apparently the platform for the formation of the Spajić-Milatović duo party", bypassed the beneficiaries of social benefits who do not feel the benefits of the program.

"In addition to the fact that they did not feel any improvement in their incomes, they are also forced to face the never-higher prices of foodstuffs that are necessary for daily functioning, such as oil, flour and dairy products," the announcement states.

All of the above, as DPS added, is reason enough not to talk about equality in society and a better life for everyone, at least on the International Day of Social Justice.

"It is obvious that, as a government, you did not have enough staff to deal with social policy, and you neglected those 130 thousand pensioners who are still waiting for that better life that your mouth is full of," the announcement concludes.
