Average net earnings in January amounted to 686 euros, which is 27,7 percent or 149 euros more than in December, according to today's data from the Monstat Statistics Authority.
This is the first calculated average net salary paid under the Europe now program. All employers had to increase the net wages increased by the workers by the part of the duties that were reduced.
The average net salary in January 2022 compared to the same month of the previous year recorded a growth of 29,4 percent.
"If it is taken into account that consumer prices in January 2022 compared to December 2021 recorded a growth of 1,3 percent, it follows that real earnings for the same period recorded a growth of 26,1 percent," announced Monstat.
