Rađenović: I am looking forward to the opening of Svetog Stefan, unscrupulous investors will not be tolerated

The President of the Board of Directors of the Public Enterprise for the Management of the Marine Resource, Blažo Rađenović, welcomed the decision to open the hotel complex Sveti Stefan - Miločer this summer.

"I look forward to and welcome the decision of the company "Adriatic Properties" doo to open a hotel in Sveti Stefan and Miločer, thus respecting the contractual obligation to the Government of Montenegro and JSC Hotels Sveti Stefan, as well as the beaches that they are obliged to maintain and open for the tourist season, and according to the valid contract they have with JP for the management of the maritime assets of Montenegro. I guess it is now clear to everyone that unscrupulous investors will no longer be tolerated, because anyone who does not respect contractual obligations will very easily find a replacement for him," wrote Rađenović on his Facebook profile.

As a reminder, as he added, last year the JPMD called on the lessee company "Adriatic propertes", which is the lessee of the beaches on Sveti Stefan, Miločer and Kraljičina beach, to comply with the contractual obligations and open the beaches, or else the lease agreement will be terminated.

"I have always stimulated and emphasized as a citizen, as a resident of Sveti Stefan and as president of the JPMD Board of Directors that I am for healthy investors and strong brands, only those who will respect our laws, the Constitution, and the local population. For those investors who come with the intention of promoting Montenegro as a touristic, ecological, safe and legal country, with all its beauties that the investor wants to preserve and raise their level of protection to an even higher level! What I want to point out to the public is that the company of Mr. Petros Statis, like any other company or natural person that does business with JPMD, will be obliged to comply with all applicable laws and the Constitution of Montenegro, but I also underline the contracts they have with JPMD, where knows what access to beaches, public paths, regular maintenance, access to docks, etc. means. Without any fences of prohibitions and something that neither the contract nor the law nor the Constitution recognizes. Therefore, any eventual departure from these frameworks will be considered a violation and JPMD will adequately sanction it. And finally, understand that there are no more privileged people, no matter what their name is, no matter what country they come from, no matter how much capital they have, the law is the same for everyone and everyone will have to respect it," concluded Rađenović.
