This is 1,15 million less than for the same period of the previous year, while the income was 13,86 million and is 1,15 million more than in the comparable period last year. Revenues are higher by 23,5 percent compared to the plan.
However, at the same time, operating costs increased from 4,2 million, which were the previous year, to 5,7 million euros. In addition, almost four million euros were spent on salary costs in three months, which is 28 percent more than last year.
"Accomplished expenses in the first quarter amounted to 9,82 million euros and were for 749.374 euros, i.e. 8,3 percent higher than planned, and by 2,281 million or 30,3 percent higher compared to the same period last year," said the company's management.
The total capital of the company, whose main product is coal intended for industrial and consumer consumption, amounted to 72 million at the end of March, which is 2021 million more than at the end of 20, while retained earnings increased to XNUMX million.
The company's management pointed out that they continued with the good business policy from the previous period.
"In the segment of coal sales for general consumption, the growth trend from 2020 and 2021 continued in the first quarter of 2022, so 96,2 percent more than the planned quantities were delivered, and 73,2 percent more compared to the same period in 2021," says the management report.
The customer of about 87 percent of the total produced coal is TE "Pljevlja", while the rest is delivered mainly to customers from the region.
Three days ago, the Pljevlja Coal Mine signed an agreement on the purchase and sale of brown lignite coal with the Electric Power Company of Serbia (EPS), which provides for the delivery of the first 40 tons of the planned total quantity of 300 tons of coal.
The company ended last year with a profit of four million euros, and it is completely owned by Elektroprivreda (EPCG).
