A public call for collaborative innovation grants has been announced

The Innovation Fund of Montenegro has announced a public call for the awarding of collaborative innovation grants, worth up to 100 thousand euros per project.

The Fund announced that the public invitation and the necessary application documentation were published on the website www.fondzainovacije.me.

The call will be open until September 27, and the total budget for this support program is 670 thousand euros.

"The main goal of the Collaborative Grants for Innovation Program is to encourage micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to actively collaborate with scientific research institutions and/or other MSMEs on commercially oriented innovative projects, with the aim of creating new or improved market-oriented products, services, technologies and process", the Fund announced.

The fund awards grants in the maximum amount of 100 thousand euros per approved project, which can cover up to 80 percent of the total costs of the project for micro and small enterprises, or up to 70 percent for medium-sized enterprises.

The applicant is obliged to provide the remaining amount of funds from his own sources.

The registration process is done electronically, through the Fund's portal www.programifonda.me.

The executive director of the Fund, Bojana Femić Radosavović, announced that this institution, in accordance with the planned work program for this year, continues with support aimed at strengthening cooperation between science and business.

"Through this and similar programs, we will try to provide continuous support for the development of innovations in our community. The goal of this program is to create new market value, create highly paid jobs, encourage scientific excellence, increase revenues and exports, and ultimately improve the competitiveness of Montenegrin companies," said Femić Radosavović.
