The Post of Montenegro filed criminal charges against several agencies for the temporary assignment of workers, as well as the responsible persons in them, due to suspicion that they caused damage to the company in the amount of over 80 thousand euros.
The Post announced that their executive director, Dragan Tufegdžić, filed a criminal complaint against the companies Dekra temporary employment and Pro-log CG Podgorica, as well as against responsible persons from their management structures.
As it is added, the criminal complaint was also filed against the responsible person in the company Demano temporary assignment of employees Podgorica, as well as against the unknown person from the Post of Montenegro who was possibly aware of the violation of procedures and laws when it comes to the mentioned companies.
"There is a well-founded suspicion that since 2017, the mentioned companies and the responsible persons in them have continuously abused their position and illegally obtained material benefits by refunding salary benefits from the JU Center for Social Work for an extended period of time, while not informing the Post about the refunds, and all with the aim of obtaining funds that the Post Office paid them in the name of net earnings related to seconded workers during the temporary inability to work", the announcement states.
In this way, as its representatives claim, the Post of Montenegro was damaged for 83,58 thousand euros.
"Taking into account that the Post is a one-member joint-stock company wholly owned by the state, and that the Government is the founder of the company, it is clear that the damage was directly caused to the Government, that is, to the state of Montenegro," added the Post.
The company said that the former management did not show the willingness or ability to fight against such abuses, but that the new management will not allow and will reveal all possible actions or omissions to the detriment of the company's property, i.e. state property.
"Immediately after collecting the necessary information, a criminal complaint was filed against the mentioned persons, and we believe that the judicial authorities will determine the possible responsibility of all persons, both external in the form of the aforementioned agencies for the assignment of workers, and those possibly responsible persons who have maintained cooperation in front of the Post for years with the aforementioned agencies and their unprofessionalism allowed the multi-year alienation of the company's property", the statement added.
They said that they will continue with the practice of responsible business for the benefit of clients, but also of the Post as a state-owned enterprise, in the coming period, determined to protect the interests of the company and the state of Montenegro at all costs.
