As part of the Be Responsible campaign, nine reports were registered this week, on the basis of which no fines were imposed.
The largest number of applications this week also related to the non-issuance of fiscal invoices.
As stated, invoices are not issued by the towing service in Budva, Adjur Company from Danilovgrad, Max plus in Podgorica, the Top Dom store in Ulcinj and the beauty salon in Bar. All applications are, as explained, in the procedure.
There is also a report in the process that Vila Feri in Kotor is operating illegally, does not register accommodation, does not issue fiscal invoices and blocks access to the public parking lot.
Citizens complained about illegal parking charges, the consumption of tobacco products in the Piazza in Nikšić, as well as the use of official vehicles for private purposes.
The Be Responsible campaign was launched at the end of December 2013 by the Ministry of Finance and the Office of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Montenegro, with the aim of contributing to the strengthening of public awareness and greater involvement of citizens in the fight against the gray economy.
The project enables citizens to simply and quickly point out irregularities, such as non-issuance of fiscal invoices, illegal work or violation of consumer rights, and help the competent institutions to deal with the gray economy as successfully as possible.
