With the amendments to the budget rebalancing, Democrat deputy Vladimri Martinović asked for an increase in the amounts intended for the preparation of project documentation and the construction of the first phase of the Sports Zone in Kolašin, but also for the money to be earmarked for the reconstruction and missing infrastructure in Boška Rašovića Street in that city.
For sports facilities in Kolašin, the budget rebalancing provided only 10.000 euros, and Martinović believes that this amount should be increased to 400.000.
"In 2019, the municipality of Kolašin won the hosting of the MOSI Games, which will take place next year, in 2023. Bearing in mind that the sports zone in Kolašin is unequipped, and that there is only the necessary technical documentation for construction, the funds specified in the proposed law are not sufficient to carry out the construction works and prepare the missing sports infrastructure for holding the Games, which would serve in the future for preparations of clubs and national teams, given that Kolašin has all the necessary components for the development of sports tourism", he explained.
With the second amendment requesting the amount of 350.000, the Democrat deputy proposed that the rebalancing be determined for the works in Boško Rašovića Street. Martinović reminds that "the municipality of Kolašin has prepared a revised project for works on that road". However, as he claims, the Municipality cannot finance this "significant project, which will contribute to the development of Kolašin" on its own.
"Given that the current economic situation has contributed to the increase in prices and that the Municipality of Kolašin does not have enough funds to finance all the works. The execution of works in that street is very important for several reasons, the most important of which are: solving the problem of fecal sewage for existing buildings, connecting residential buildings in the construction of the sewage network, the establishment of storm sewerage and asphalting of one of the busiest streets in the city", the explanation of the amendment reads.
Martinović acted with identical amendments on the proposal of the Law on Amendments to the Budget Law, in May of this year.
