Former Minister of Economic Development and one of the leaders of the Europe Now Movement, Jakov Milatović, said that the budget rebalancing proposal is a reflection of politicking, ignorance and malice towards the public interest.
Milatović stated that the budget deficit at the end of August amounted to only nine million euros, and that it was the smallest ever.
"With the rebalancing proposal, it increases to 439 million euros! The government plans to have a deficit of 100 million euros every month until the end of the year! This is a reflection of enormous politicking, ignorance and malice towards the public interest - all of which have a common denominator in the best possible positioning of small parties before the upcoming elections. All this costs 400 million euros! For that much money we can build the second section of the highway from Kolašin to Andrijevica," Milatović said on Twitter.
