Abazović: The IT sector is a great development opportunity for Montenegro

The IT sector can be a great development opportunity for Montenegro, said Prime Minister in technical mandate Dritan Abazović.

Tonight in Podgorica, Abazović opened the "Days of Science and Innovation" event, which was organized by the Ministry of Science and Technological Development.

As announced by the Government, he said that people are the greatest resource of any country, and scientific research and innovation are the best way to use their resources.

"Only one innovation can make Montenegro a globally famous destination," said Abazović.

He said that he is convinced that among the people who are innovators in Montenegro, there are many who will become famous in the coming period.

"The truth is that we may not have paid enough attention to it. It is true that we are financially neglecting something related to either culture or scientific research," said Abazović.

He believes that the opposite must be done in the future.

"We have to support people who have creativity, who try to direct their knowledge not only to the development of Montenegro, but also to the recognition of Montenegro," said Abazović.

He said that he is sure that the "Days of Science and Innovation" will be a good basis for researchers to exchange their opinions and that it will be an inspiration to others who visit the caravan in one of the Montenegrin cities, for new ideas and innovations in their work, so that all together did good things for Montenegro.

"I think this is the time to gather around knowledge, to bring new ideas together, to create new value and to make Montenegro recognized in these sectors as well," Abazović added.

According to him, the IT sector can be a great development opportunity for Montenegro.

"We made an effort to bring digital nomads to Montenegro. Of course, we are not in step with some other countries, but Montenegro is the god of day for that," said the Prime Minister.

Abazović said that anyone who wants to come and develop their ideas in Montenegro is more than welcome.

"We will all benefit from that, our people will learn, and in those people we will probably have new inspiration for our ideas and our development," Abazović pointed out.
