Ivan Joličić, a candidate for councilor from the "Can Bar, can Montenegro" list, said that it is absolutely impossible to expect Bar to have a dynamic development without a developed IT industry, as well as new technologies.
It indicates that the yield of services from the IT industry, per workplace, is several times higher than the yield of services from the vast majority of other industries.

"In the newly formed Hub, we will provide free training for all young engineers, and those who want to become one, in all the latest technologies such as Blockchain, AI/Machine Learning and IOT and others," said Jolicic.
He pointed out that Bar also "lacks" the implementation of software solutions for online submission of "various requests, obtaining permits, payments and the like", as well as that "every modern city needs to develop a strategy and implement the Smart City/Smart City concept". which, as he said, would ultimately lead to the improvement of the quality of life, but also to the sustainable development of the city and the economy.
"Instead of paying huge amounts for ready-made software solutions, at HUB we will enable both the development of those solutions and the free training of personnel through work on them. We are sure that this synergy of creating solutions and training personnel will lead to huge savings, but also to placing the city of Bar on the map of cities that develop the latest technologies. This would result in the production of experts who, after training, will be able to find employment in a large number of companies, all over the world, which ultimately do not require the physical presence of employees, which will enable those experts to stay in the Bar", says Joličić.
Joličić pointed out that "Bar domain" could finance the salaries of existing experts and the training of talented young people from that municipality, as well as the development of online solutions and the "Smart City/Pametni Grad concept".
He emphasizes that the project would not require any additional funds from the city budget, but that they have a plan for "the future HUB to be a very profitable municipal company in the near future."
"Do we have to state that these experts would spend their salaries in their city and give an incentive to the development of all other economic entities", concluded Joličić.
