The documentation for the termination of the contract for the road "Meljine-Petijevići" is sent to the prosecution

The government decided today to forward the complete documentation regarding the agreement on the termination of the Bot arrangement for the Meljine-Petijevići road, which was terminated during the former government headed by Zdravko Krivokapić, to the competent state prosecutor's office for further processing.

According to the plan of the former government, the company "Univerzal Monte", behind which stands the Serbian businessman Vuk Hamović, should have been paid four million euros from the current budget reserve for the early termination of the contract for the Meljine-Petijevići road.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the state by the former Minister of Finance and Social Welfare, Milojko Spajić, and on behalf of the Municipality of Herceg Novi by the president of the local administration, Stevan Katic.

The Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare, headed by Minister Milojko Spajić, signed an agreement on the termination of the contract in which it was defined that the money should be paid by January 31 of this year. However, in the budget for this year, the payment of four million is not planned, but at the last session of the former Government on April 20, a conclusion was reached that this money should be paid from the current budget reserve. On April 15, the protector of the property and legal interests of the state submitted to Spajić the lawsuit filed by "Univerzal Monte" in the Commercial Court.

The agreement was terminated without the consent of the Ministry of Capital Investments (MKI), which announced that it could not take over the management of this share.

"Given the complexity of this business and four million should have been paid from the current reserve and everything that followed this information, I think it is necessary to deal with the competent prosecution," said Finance Minister Aleksandar Damjanović at today's session.

Defense Minister Raško Konjević said that the Government's conclusions should be strengthened due to the importance of this issue, while Prime Minister Dritan Abazović said that the agreement on the termination of the bot arrangement was signed on the day of election silence before the last elections in Herceg Novi.
