The contract on HPP "Kruševo" was signed, the value of the contracted work 219.000 euros

Representatives of the Electric Power Company of Montenegro (EPCG) and the Consortium consisting of the Institute for Water Management "Jaroslav Černi" AD (Belgrade, Serbia), Gruner Stucky SA (Renens, Switzerland) and Gruner Balkans DOO (Belgrade, Serbia) signed the contract on HPP "Kruševo" today ".

The contract was signed in Podgorica by the executive director of EPCG AD Nikšić Nikola Rovčanin and the general director of the Institute for Water Management "Jaroslav Černi" AD Dejan Divac.

"This document stipulates that the Consortium will carry out all tasks related to the development of a study of the use of the hydropower potential of the Piva River downstream of the HPP "Piva" (HP "Kruševo") with the development of a software platform to support the selection of the optimal variant," EPCG announced.

On that occasion, Rovčanin pointed out that HPP "Kruševo" represents a very important project for the company, both in terms of expanding the production portfolio, and in terms of continued investment in renewable energy sources.

"We are very much looking forward to cooperation with renowned partners, whose participation is a guarantee of quality, and for us this is a very important step forward in the context of the continuation of a large investment cycle, especially since the whole story is directed towards RES, which creates the preconditions for the successful implementation of the energy transition." , said Rovčanin.

Divac said that the long-term cooperation between the two parties inspires confidence, stressing that he is sure that this project will also be successfully implemented.

EPCG states that the value of the contracted work is EUR 219.000 without VAT, and that the deadline for the performance of the services is May 11, 2023.

In addition to the signatories, the signing of the contract was attended by FC Proizvodnja executive director Bojan Đordan, chief financial officer Miro Vračar, executive director of the Directorate for Development and Investments Ivan Mrvaljević, project manager Nebojša Grbović and executive director of the Institute for Water Management "Jaroslav Černi" AD Dejan Vučković.
