In the relationship between representatives of Crnogorski Telekom and the Trade Union of that company, a dialogue is necessary in accordance with the conventions of the International Labor Organization, in order to reach an agreement important for both parties, announced the Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Admir Adrović.
Adrović said that the agreement reached would lead to overcoming the current situation, which is in the interest of citizens and companies operating on the territory of Montenegro.
Adrović and his colleagues met with the CEO of Crnogorski Telekom Stjepan Udovićič, the director of the Sector for Corporate and Legal Affairs Pavle Đurović, the director of the Sector for Human Resources Slađana Kalezić and the leadership of the Union of Employers (UPCG).
"At the meeting, there was talk about the strike of the employees of Crnogorski Telekom and the problems between the employees and the management of that company", according to the Ministry's announcement.
Udovicic said that the management's negotiations with the union leaders have been going on for more than a year and that, despite the intention to resolve open issues through dialogue, they have not been able to reach an agreement.
He stated that during negotiations, Crnogorski Telekom was on several occasions the subject of inspections by the Directorate for Inspection Affairs, i.e. the Department for Labor Inspection, at the initiative of the Telecom Union.
Adrović said that he had the opportunity to get acquainted with the demands of the employees of Crnogorski Telekom at the meeting held in the Ministry with representatives of the Trade Union, as well as their reasons for going on strike.
