The Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare sent the proposal of the general collective agreement (OKU) to the competent institutions in the regular procedure, which, after receiving a positive opinion, will be sent to the Government for consideration, it was announced at the Social Council session.

The President of the Council, the Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Admir Adrović, when it comes to the Government's position on the proposed text, informed the members that the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, as a department, sent the OKU Proposal to the competent institutions in the regular procedure, and that after receiving a positive opinion from them to be sent to the Government for consideration.

The appointment of new representatives of the Government in the Council was confirmed at the session.

In addition to the members, the general director of the Directorate for the Held Budget Bojan Paunović also attended the session, who informed the Council about the Bill on the budget for the following year.

The Government's stance on initiatives to change those two and some other regulations would give more space to the social partners to reach compromise solutions during negotiations at the level of multi-branch collective agreements.
