Today, on the proposal of the Ministry of Finance, the Government elected Ilija Vukčević as State Secretary in that department.
Vukčević was a candidate for judge of the Constitutional Court, and he also holds the position of advisor in the Revenue and Customs Administration for the promotion and improvement of business processes.
Vukčević is a doctor of legal sciences with extensive work experience and respectable professional references. During the past almost two decades, he covered numerous functions in various fields in the country, but also at the international level.
He held the position of national legal expert at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg and the Institute for Public Administration in Stockholm, as well as adviser on legal issues to the Minister of Finance of Montenegro, and he also held the position of acting director of the Directorate for Games of Chance.
