Deputies of the Social Democrats (SD) proposed, during the debate on the Draft Law on the Budget, that the Assembly pass a conclusion charging the Government to carry out the necessary activities in the direction of developing "several very important strategies".
These are, the SD points out, a strategy of demographic development, that is, population policy, because three quarters of municipalities continuously record a negative natural increase. Then, the strategy to fight against poverty, because every fourth citizen and every third child are at risk of poverty.
Also, the Social Democrats proposed to implement activities in the direction of realizing free transportation of students, because "it is a problem that repeats itself from year to year", as well as free snacks for children from socially vulnerable categories
"Funds for the implementation of the above-mentioned activities, in accordance with the dynamics of implementation, would be provided from the current budget reserve," announced the SD.
