The leader of the Budva Democrats Krsto Radović announced that Prime Minister in the technical mandate Dritan Abazović confirmed today what raised the fears of the citizens of Budva - that even this Government, especially as it is a technical one, is not giving up on the privatization of HG "Budvanska Riviera".
"It is likely that the assumptions that the intention is to go to some kind of barter of 'Slovenska plaža' for 'Sveti Stefan' are also correct, but we can no longer be sure of that either, especially when we take into account the radical changes in the attitudes and thoughts of Mr. Abazović When DPS was doing it, they at least had legitimacy for the privatization and sale of spatial resources, which was reflected in the election result, and now URA wants to finish what DPS started in a technical mandate, with only four to five percent of support," says Radović. .
He adds that at the same time he is announcing the purchase of "Luke Bar" shares and the sale of "Budvanska Riviera" shares.
"If there is any specific offer or plan to privatize what is left of the once powerful hotel giant, whose value was reduced by DPS, knowingly with the intention that Abazović would teach us how to market and shape a tourist product exclusively for high-paying guests, as well as that at the same time he underestimates the employees of this hotel group, we invite him to state this publicly," says Radović.
He states that they have to remind that this hotel group is managed illegally by the Government.
"Because the hotels and land were stolen from the Municipality of Budva and its citizens, and if he wants to finish what DPS started, he should be prepared for the legal consequences that will follow. And finally, I think that Mr. Abazović should treat the property Budva riviera in the same way as the property in Valdanos, nothing more and nothing less," concluded Radović.
