The Ministry of Capital Investments will continue to undertake activities aimed at improving business processes, as well as staffing and administrative strengthening of the Port Authority of Bar, it was announced from that department.
State Secretary Ismet Latić continued his working visit to maritime institutions and visited the Port Authority of Bar, the Directorate of Maritime Safety and Port Management, as well as the companies Marina and Barska plovidba.
He began his working visit with a conversation with the port captain at the Bar Port Authority, Predrag Ratković.
After being informed in detail about the functioning of this organizational unit of the Ministry of Capital Investments, Latić said that he is aware of the importance of the Bar Harbor Master's Office, especially considering the responsibilities and tasks performed in the master's office.
As part of the working visit, Latić also met with the leadership of the Maritime Safety and Port Management Administration, where he learned about the functioning and challenges faced by this institution.
After the meeting, Latić said that the close cooperation of the Administration of Maritime Safety and Port Management with the Ministry of Capital Investments is extremely important, and that he fully supports efforts aimed at improving this cooperation, in mutual interest.
Latić also had separate meetings with the managements of Marina and Barska plovidba, where he was informed about the results of the operations of these two extremely important companies.
"The commitment of both the Ministry and these companies to work together to overcome the problems and challenges they face, all with the aim of overall improvement of the Montenegrin maritime economy," concludes the announcement.
