The company "Bemaks" has not yet been introduced to the reconstruction of the road from Kolašin to Mateševo, and the plan is to start the works after the winter tourist season.
This was officially told to "Vijesti" by the Traffic Administration, from which they stated that they have chosen the company that will supervise the execution of the works.
This tender was announced at the beginning of July last year, while the bids were opened on August 8 last year. Bemax was the only bidder.
"Professional supervision over the execution of works will be carried out by the company 'Construction supervision and laboratory tests' from Podgorica. It is planned to start the works after the end of the winter tourist season, given that at this moment there is a significant traffic load when more favorable weather conditions are expected. The deadline for the execution of the works is eight months from the start of the work", stated the Administration, from which they previously announced that the guarantee period is three years from the handover of the works.
The estimated value of the works to be performed by "Bemaks"1 is 5,3 million euros without VAT, while the price with VAT is 6,41 million euros.
The Administration previously said that the length of the road is about eight kilometers, while on three sections with a total length of about 1,5 kilometers, correction of the existing elements of the situational road is being carried out, while on the rest of the road, the existing road is being scraped and covered with a new wearing layer of asphalt.
The reconstruction of this section is important in order to connect Kolašin with the recently opened section of the highway from Smokovac to Mateševo and for the main road from Podgorica to Bijelo Polje.
In July of last year, Kolašin met the opening of the Smokovac Mateševo highway section with an unprepared traffic infrastructure. Lack of parking space, many dilapidated roads, unresolved "connection" with ski areas... these are just some of the difficulties this city faces.
"Vijesti" wrote last year that intensified works on the reconstruction of certain streets in Kolašin recently bypassed Donji Pažanj I Street, which connects the city with the regional road to Mateševo, for which the Traffic Administration announced a tender for reconstruction at the beginning of July. However, the project of the Traffic Administration did not include a narrow street through the village of Pažanj, without adequate sidewalks and horizontal signaling, with a dilapidated bridge, which even now is difficult for two vehicles to pass. The condition of that road was particularly worsened by the frequent traffic of freight vehicles in the past years.
