Minister of Agriculture and Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Joković said today that a public invitation should be issued for the use of state land in Grblje (Krimovica) and then the most favorable bidder should be selected.
He said that the former president of the Municipality of Budva, Marko Bata Carevic, was not given state land by this Government, but by a previous one.
"This government did not give Tsarević permission to work, I don't even know if he even got permission to work," said Joković when asked by "TV Vijesti" if he knew who gave Tsarević permission to work on state land , because he is called to do it quite legally.
Joković also added that Carević uses subsidies from the Agricultural Budget like any other farmer and added that it is not up to the Ministry of Agriculture to determine on whose land production takes place.
He also stated that he had not heard information that Tsarević had submitted an offer to the state for the purchase of land.
"There was an offer from Tsarević to pay the rent for that land. I think that the tender should be asked and the one who pays more should be chosen," Joković said.
