Property MA offered for sale at a total price of 3,4 million euros

The bankruptcy administrator of Montenegro Airlines (MA) Milan Radulović published an advertisement for the sale of the assets of the former national airline, at a total price of 3,4 million euros.

For the first time, the sale of five Fokker 100 aircraft was announced, the price of which ranges from 170.000 euros to 1,05 million. The planes, which are located at the Golubovci airport, are being sold individually, while all other assets are being sold as a whole, the RTCG portal reports.

Office furniture and inventory from the branch office of the former national airline in Podgorica and the Old Tower building in Golubovci are also for sale, at a total price of 8,54 thousand euros.

The sale of four Fokker 100 aircraft engines was announced for 1,2 million euros. The inventory and equipment of the catering service of the former airline is sold for 97,24 thousand euros. Computers and computer components are sold, without associated hard disks, at a price of 10,25 thousand euros.

For sale, as a whole, 41 passenger and cargo motor vehicles, at a total price of 180,2 thousand euros.

Offers can be submitted until April 6, when they will be opened in the Commercial Court. Offers can be submitted by legal and natural persons from the country and abroad who pay a deposit in the amount of ten percent of the initial price.

Radulović was elected as the bankruptcy administrator of MA in September of last year and this is the first advertisement for the sale of the assets of the former airline that he published.

Bankruptcy in MA was introduced on April 28, 2021 at the request of the Revenue and Customs Administration, after 24 years of operation. Saša Zejak, who was arrested in May last year on suspicion of being part of an organized criminal group of the president of the Commercial Court, Blažo Jovanić, was then appointed as bankruptcy administrator.

In the meantime, he was released to defend himself, while in November of last year, the SDT filed an indictment against him, Jovanić and 12 other people who are suspected of creating a criminal organization and abusing their official position by which they damaged the state for several million euros.

33,8 million euros in claims were recognized to the creditors of MA, and the largest amount is owed to former employees. The employer owed them 17,3 million euros for salaries and contributions.
