The government authorized Mia Marković to dispose of budget funds allocated to the Hydrocarbons Administration, in accordance with the Law on the Budget for 2023.
As announced by the Government, Marković is also authorized to sign financial acts necessary for the smooth functioning of the body, until the appointment of an acting director or the appointment of a director in accordance with the Law.
This decision was made at a telephone session of the Government.
Marković was appointed in order to ensure the smooth functioning and work of the organs of the Hydrocarbons Administration.
The employees of the Hydrocarbons Administration have not received their salaries since the end of January because there is no one to sign the pay slips, since this administration does not have a director.
MKI proposed at the beginning of March that the Government choose the acting director Bogdan Fatić for a full term because he is the first-ranked in the competition announced by the Human Resources Administration, but Prime Minister Dritan Abazović did not put the proposal to a vote at that session but said that they should give him another name.
Fatić is an official of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) and joined the Administration as an acting official after resigning as a DPS deputy in the parliament.
